Welcome to the new evolution of wheelchair brake systems. Using our patented disc brake technology, ADI enables users of all physical abilities near effortless wheelchair braking. ADI believes that a non-moving chair during transfers is vital to the day to day safety and function of wheelchair users. The time has come for wheelchair users of all levels of ability, to have “True Wheelchair Braking” !
We currently offer four versions of ADI wheelchair brake systems:
-
Variable Brake - single lever locks both sides simultaneously & offers four pre-set intervals of braking force.
-
Para Levers - independent left and right side braking with lock up button.
-
E-Brakes - electronically actuated brake system offers effortless variable braking and wheel lock for transfers.
-
Attendant brake - single or dual lever, mounted on wheelchair push handles for attendant activation.
By utilizing disc technology on wheelchairs you gain many benefits, while eliminating problems caused by the standard over-center locking devices. Contact us today and experience the difference.
Note: Depending on chair frame configuration, the addition of disc brakes components may increase overall width.

Dear Customer,
As an active person, I had struggled with high mount brakes for years. From the constant twisting and turning to lock/unlock standard brakes, to the constant adjustments to keep them in working order. These frustrations led to the designing of wheelchair disc brake systems, which has exceeded my original expectations. Safer transfers, reduced back and wrist pain and the option of a deceleration brake when managing ramps & uneven surfaces are only a few of the amazing benefits. After you experience our disc brakes, you'll wonder why it took so long.
